Peacemaker's Purpose
Welcome to Peacemaker Healing!
My name is Mitch, I am a handicapped military veteran who proudly served in both the Australian and New Zealand military for many years. Since being medically retired in 2016, my purpose has been supporting veterans and first line responders who are suffering from PTSD, or experiencing mental or physical illness and injury - no matter age, race, or gender.
Multiple back, neck, shoulder, knee, hip & major nerve injuries, plus a PTSD diagnosis, left me battling severe physical and mental demons after I left the military - something many veterans unfortunately suffer with. More than 1,200 Australian Defence Force Veterans and serving personnel have died by suicide in the past two decades, which is 1,200 too many.
After years of trying to fight my demons alone, I finally found my way through the darkness of PTSD when I discovered a love for fishing - an activity that combined fresh air, physical activity and socialising in a peaceful environment. I started to provide free fishing trips for anyone experiencing a physical or mental incapacity.
Unfortunately, these trips were interrupted by the COVID19 pandemic. I decided to sell my boat “PEACEMAKER” and invest the proceeds into a new way to help those in need - Peacemaker Healing.
The Australian public can now show their support for veterans by purchasing our products, knowing that their money is not only going to a great cause, but they are also getting high-quality, affordable and all-natural products that will enrich their own lives.
